TEPEK Kick-off Meeting made in FISAUM center of Ankara University in Turkey (September 15^th, 2008). Our first project meeting was a greate opportunity to share our plans for leading the project to a successful completion.

At the beginning of the meeting, we prepared the meeting agenda together.

1. First, we discussed to develop the project goals and deliverables Defining goals and deliverables were a good starting point for staffing and sharing the project tasks and developing the project plan. We wrote them to a whiteboard and validated our definitions with the project partners.

2. Then we identified the project tasks and their responsible teams. We shared the tasks according to the complexity of the deliverables, and nature of the project.

3. We discussed the project assumptions and resources. We identified key issues and some dependencies. Then we developed the preliminary project plan. We determined the appropriate timelines for tasks and milestones, then assigned priorities and each participant were agree on the project plan and resources.

4. After the meeting, the coordinator, Ankara University sent kick-off meeting materials to all participants.

We developed a project team contact list that includes the name, department, phone number, and e-mail address for each member. The list had been distributed to the team.
